HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church hosted a free food box giveaway on Saturday, Feb. 20, starting at 8 a.m.
Church members distributed 300 boxes of nonperishable and fresh food items at the church, located at 315 Winchester Road NE in Huntsville, Alabama.
The event was held as a drive-thru in which members of the public remained in their vehicles while church members placed the boxes in their cars to ensure social distancing.
The next food box distribution event will be on March 20, 2021, at 8 a.m.
