Any day this month, you can get your pet micro chipped for only $15. All you have to do is e-mail them at info@ghhs.org and set up an appointment time.

They say it only takes 20 minutes to put in the microchip and update your information.

If you aren't sure if your pet already has a microchip, they'll check for you.

GHHS Director of Advancement Katie Hall said, "Say you move and you never switched it over, we'll scan for the microchip. If it's in there, we'll make sure that all your registration is up to date, too. That's completely free of charge, if it already has a microchip."

GHHS is having a big Chip-A-Thon event with other local rescue organizations on July 25th and July 26th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
