HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — One man is dead after a workplace incident. According to Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, granite slabs fell on a worker on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at 11309 South Memorial Parkway. The man killed was identified by Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill as 32-year-old John Hopper, an employee of the business where the incident took place, Huntsville Granite & Marble LLC, a countertop store located at the same address.
Huntsville Police Department is now investigating the incident.
