The Social Security Administration has now made it possible to replace a missing social security card from the comfort of your own home.
In order to replace a missing social security card, you'll need to create an account on the SSA's website. Once you do so, you'll be able to complete an application as long as you meet the following requirements:
- Are U.S. citizen at least 18 years old with a U.S. mailing address
- Are not requesting any changes to your social security card
- Have a valid driver's license or state-issued identification card
