Huntsville Botanical Garden brings back Galaxy of Lights

The yearly event will feature a combination of familiar and new displays.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Galaxy of Lights event at the Huntsville Botanical Garden is set to return to the public from November 11 through January 1.

The yearly event will feature a combination of familiar and new displays. One new feature guests will get to experience is a special path leading guests through the garden's interior during walking nights.

“Galaxy of Lights is a beloved tradition for our entire region, and as we look forward to the next 25 years of the event, we are inspired by the opportunity to blend familiar traditions with new surprises,” said CEO Sue Wagner.

Some of the returning nights include Dog Walking Nights on Mondays and Tuesdays during walking nights, the Galaxy of Lights 5K Race and 3K Fun Run on November 29 and 30.

Walking Nights will take place from November 11 through November 28 opening at 5:15 p.m. with last admissions at 8:30 p.m. Tickets range in price from $13 to $25 for adults and $7 to $15 for children.

Driving Nights will be from December 2 through January 1 opening at 5:15 p.m. with last admissions at 9 p.m. Tickets range in price from $20 to $35 per vehicle with a limit to 10 passengers.

Tickets can be bought in person at the garden's front desk during regular business hours or online through the garden's website.
