HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Fractal Brewing Project is helping get food to people in need.
The brewery was forced to close their doors due to the pandemic, so they decided to donate their event space to First Stop.
First Stop helps feed Huntsville's homeless, but due to COVID-19, they were required to suspend operations at their facility.
Thanks to the partnership, they're now serving around 150 meal bags a day.
Fractal Brewing Project Owner, Larry Lowe, said, "It is really a community effort because we've put it out across social media to be a collection point, and daily, people bring water bottles by, or proteins or carbohydrates."
They are taking up food donations like granola bars, fruit cups, and tuna.
You can drop off donations at Fractal from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday through Friday and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
