HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Police advise drivers to plan ahead for traffic disruptions in downtown Huntsville on Tuesday, Dec. 3, due to the annual Huntsville Christmas Parade.
Several streets and intersections along the parade route will close starting at 5 p.m. The parade itself will begin at 6 p.m. and affect roads including Clinton Avenue, Church Street, Williams Avenue, Washington Street, and Meridian Street.
The parade will start at Lot K on Woodson Street Northwest and Clinton Avenue West, then end at the Lumberyard on Meridian Street North near Howe Avenue Northeast and Cleveland Avenue Northwest.
All roads are expected to reopen by 8 p.m.
HPD encourages drivers to use caution, watch for pedestrians, and adjust their travel plans accordingly.
