Huntsville City teachers are gathering left behind items to give back to students

When most schools got out, they thought it was only a break. That means that not all personal items were taken.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Many Huntsville City Schools teachers are back in their classrooms, helping students get back any items that were left inside.

The school district has created check-in stations at school entrances where teachers are provided with masks, gloves and hand sanitizer while practicing social distancing.

They are also asked health questions.

Teachers are gathering items for students in individual bags for them to pick up.

Individual schools are sharing individual pick-up times with families.
