HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Get your sneakers ready for a colorful adventure at the first-ever Color Jam Family Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, July 20, from 8 to 11 a.m. at John Hunt Park. This free event is open to all ages and promises to be a vibrant summer highlight.
People will run or walk along the paved roads around the John Hunt Park Festival Grounds while being showered with bright powders and sticky slime. The event will also feature giveaways, a dance party, and snacks and drinks for purchase.
“This is a new event for Huntsville and just one of the exciting activities we have planned for Parks and Recreation Month,” Huntsville Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett said. “It merges physical activity with bright colors, offering a unique experience for families in our community."
Wear white clothing with neon accessories to make the most of the colorful fun. Comfortable shoes and clothes that can handle liquids and powders are recommended.
