HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Downtown Huntsville, Inc. (DHI) is rolling out the Downtown Explorer Card, a digital gift card aimed at boosting local food, beverage, and retail businesses in the area. Developed in partnership with Yiftee, a community e-gift card provider, the card offers an easy and convenient way for residents and visitors to explore and support the vibrant businesses downtown.
The Downtown Explorer Card is available for purchase online and can be used at a variety of participating downtown businesses. New businesses are continually joining the program, expanding the options for cardholders. Customers can use the card just like any other credit card, allowing them to shop, dine, and explore multiple establishments in one seamless experience.

The digital gift card can be used at participating businesses until the balance is spent. It works by simply entering the card number at checkout, making it a flexible way to explore downtown.

DHI will promote the card and the list of businesses involved to further drive awareness. According to Downtown Huntsville, the setup for businesses is simple, requiring only a unique code from Yiftee’s platform, with no additional hardware needed.
The digital gift card can be used at participating merchants in Downtown Huntsville and comes in amounts ranging from $5 to $250, working without the need for an app.
