Huntsville Fire & Rescue responds to second fire at Biltmore Place Apartments in two days

Multiple crews were called to the Biltmore Place complex off Old Blue Spring Rd. NW Tuesday morning.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Fire crews responded to another fire at Biltmore Apartments on Old Blue Spring Road early Tuesday, just two days after the same building was severely damaged in a previous blaze.

The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. Tuesday. The apartment building had been the site of a fire on Sunday afternoon that displaced 20 residents.

FOX54 spoke to one displaced resident, Cotrenia Logan, who said, “I was on my way over here and came to nothing. Nothing. We’ve lost everything.”

“Everything is gone. We have no clothes, no nothing,” Logan added. “All I know is we need help. We need clothes, we need everything. Pampers, you name it, I need it."
