Huntsville High School 'bomb threat': Authorities say no threat discovered after search

Law enforcement authorities did not discover any threats following a search of the building.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Huntsville High School has returned to normal operations following a bomb threat on Tuesday afternoon, Huntsville City Schools said.

The district said students and staff members were evacuated immediately and law enforcement was notified when the threat was received at around 2:40 p.m.

Law enforcement authorities did not discover any threats following a search of the building.

As of 3:53 p.m., the district said the school is executing regular dismissal procedures.
