HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Police confirm one person has been detained in connection with a shooting that happened Saturday afternoon.
Officers say they responded to the 200 block of Binford Dr. south of Clinton Ave. just after 3:30 p.m.
They reported finding a single victim that had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
It is not known what led to the shooting or if the person detained will face charges. An investigation is ongoing.
