Huntsville-Madison County Chamber turns shopping locally into a game

Visit participating local businesses, save your receipts, then scan or take a photo and fill out your game board and turn it in to the Chamber for a chance to win!

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber encourages the community to support our businesses this holiday season through SHOP LOCAL-OPOLY. Keep your dollars local, and in turn, be put in a drawing to win up to $650 worth of gift cards from local participating businesses!

The campaign is designed after the popular board game Monopoly™ with participants shopping at different spaces on our customized game board.

The game board consists of 27 businesses in Huntsville/Madison County that are shaping our community’s unique character and personality. Visit any of them, save your receipts, then scan or take a photo and fill out your game board and turn it in to the Chamber to be entered in the drawing.

Participants must shop between now and Dec. 1 to be eligible to win. Three winners will be chosen to win either $250, $400, or $650 in gift cards to the businesses on the board.

We’ll announce the winners on December 7 at the Chamber’s Holiday Open House. Multiple entries are allowed – three receipts equal one entry.

When you shop local, you’re making a personal investment in our community. In fact, for every $100 spent, roughly $68 to $73 of it returns to local activity.
