HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Parks & Recreation is urging teenagers and their guardians to join in a teen activity survey designed to improve recreational offerings for Huntsville's youth. As the school year nears its end, Parks & Recreation aims to gather insights on teens' preferred activities and the most convenient days for participation.
James Gossett, Director of Parks & Recreation, shared the importance of this survey in ensuring diverse and engaging programming for all age groups.
"Our objective is to provide inclusive and valuable programming across all age brackets," said Gossett. "It's crucial that we offer activities that resonate with teenagers, particularly during the summer months, to foster meaningful social interactions beyond screens."
The survey results will inform the City of Huntsville's efforts in finding more activities that promote socialization, physical fitness, and personal growth among teens. By completing the survey, teens and their families can influence the recreational landscape of their community.
