HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville police are investigating a shooting at the Conoco on Pulaski Pike in which both victims say the other shot first.
According to police, one victim, a 19-year-old man, said that he arrived at the gas station and as he was walking in when the offender exited a black truck and fired one round at him, striking him. The victim returned fire with his own pistol and was taken to Huntsville Hospital by his friend.
The other victim, a 53-year-old man, says that he arrived at the gas station and as he was walking in the offender began shooting at him, striking the victim's truck. The victim returned fire, striking the offender. The victim then drove to his house and awaited police arrival.
Only the 19-year-old was injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
