HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — One person is dead following a shooting in southwest Huntsville Saturday afternoon. Police confirmed the shooting happened on Squaw Valley Drive, west of Triana Boulevard and McDonnell Elementary School.
Investigators say that when officers responded to the scene, they found a single victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead a short time later, they said.
Huntsville Police did not provide details regarding a potential suspect or of any arrests as of Sunday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
