Huntsville's Best Places to Work recognized

The annual event celebrates businesses that create an excellent workplace culture through employee engagement, strong leadership and communication.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce honored the "Best of the Best" member businesses in the Tennessee Valley. The annual event celebrates businesses that create an excellent workplace culture through employee engagement, strong leadership and communication.

"I think it says a lot about the Huntsville Community in the companies that are here and we know that we're best place to work best place to live and these folks are dedicated to making sure that there companies are meeting the needs of their employees and we continue to go forward," said Ashley Chambers, VP of Small Business at Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce.

Each winning company today shared the same sentiment...why being family is important. 

And Chambers reiterated how important a great workplace is. "I just think it says not only a lot about the employers in our community and how they value their employees but just the sheer participation in the number of companies that are here today really speaks to their commitment not only to the employees in our community but also our community these folks are proud of where they are and they take it very seriously that they are contributing to making this community great."

The winning companies were determined by confidential employee surveys. Those results were tabulated and winners were categorized into groups from smallest to largest, each category winning bronze, silver and gold prize rankings.
