HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — In the wake of massive power outages after Hurricane Sally ripped through the Gulf Coast, crews from Huntsville Utilities are heading south the help get the lights back on.
In a post on Facebook, Huntsville Utilities said:
Electric Operations crews from Huntsville Utilities departed for Fairhope, where they will join other utility crews from the region that are working to restore power after Hurricane Sally made landfall.We wish them safe travels and a speedy return.
Cities along the Gulf Coast sustained major damage and flooding as the hurricane made landfall early Wednesday morning.
