HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Police have opened an investigation after a parent pulled out a gun while arguing with another parent in the drop-off line at Huntsville High School on Tuesday, October 15, shortly before 8 a.m.
According to police, the female victim was confronted by the person during the argument. The person then got out of their car with a firearm and made a threatening remark before returning to the vehicle and leaving.
School Resource Officers were at the school but were not informed of the situation until after the suspect had driven away.
A criminal case for menacing has been opened, and the incident is currently under active investigation.
