HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Police officials say an investigation remains active following a shooting that killed a person early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 3800 block of Lakeview Drive, north of Mastin Lake Road Northwest, around 5:00 a.m.
Investigators found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound; the victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the Major Crimes Unit was notified and responded.
No arrests have been announced as of Sunday afternoon.
