LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — The Limestone County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they said stole a vehicle from the area near Newby Road and Gray Road.
According to LCSO, Joseph Wise was last seen near East Limestone and Jennings Chapel Road. He allegedly abandoned the vehicle on Winchester Road just off of Jennings Chapel Road and fled the area after being confronted by a landowner, LCSO said.
Deputies were called to the scene where they recovered the stolen vehicle and found Wise's wallet in it. LCSO said Wise was last seen wearing a white shirt and sunglasses and was barefoot.
