HARVEST, Ala. — A Limestone Correctional Facility security guard was arrested Wednesday on charges of promoting prison contraband.
Monica Blakeney, according to ADOC (Alabama Department of Corrections), was taken to Limestone County Jail and has resigned from her position with the ADOC.
ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division agents and K-9 officers responded to Limestone Correctional Facility on Wednesday to assist facility staff with the arrest.
