HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill reported a child was killed by a gunshot wound Sunday morning.
Very few details were confirmed by Berryhill, only that the child was pronounced dead shortly after 8 a.m. following a shooting at a Huntsville residence.
We have reached out to Huntsville Police for more details about the incident.
Berryhill said an autopsy has been ordered on the child and will be performed later this week. An investigation is ongoing.
