MADISON, Ala. — Fentanyl has touched lives across the Tennessee Valley, and Madison City Schools wants families to know about the dangers of this drug.
On Tuesday, April 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., a parent forum lead by a top panel of experts lined up by the Partnership for a Drug-Free Community will share the latest information on fentanyl and the risk to young people. Parents throughout the area, regardless of district enrollment, are encouraged to attend at the Madison City Schools Central Office Board room.
Madison City Schools' Safety and Security coordinator works closely with SROs and the Partnership regularly to try to educate students on the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, vaping, and drugs, including the rising threat of deadly fentanyl.
