Madison County Schools received grant to support AP programs

Grant will help the district improve access to AP courses for students.

MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala — Madison County Schools has received a gift of $12,500 to help support and improve the district's Advanced Placement Program.

The money will allow the district to increase AP opportunities for students.

Superintendent Allen Perkins said of the gift from The Schools Foundation, "The Madison County School System is extremely appreciative of the funding provided to us by The Schools Foundation in support of our Advanced Placement program. Their on-going contributions have helped in providing numerous opportunities for our students as they prepare for their futures in competitive college and career endeavors.”
