Captain retires after nearly 40 years with Madison County Sheriff’s Office

MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala. — A captain with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is calling it a career after nearly 40 years of service. Marion “J.R.” Bulluck has worked for the department since 1987.

In a social media post, the MCSO honored Bulluck’s mark on the law enforcement community and highlighted his efforts to maintain public safety.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Kevin Turner stated in the post, "Captain Bulluck has been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve alongside him. His dedication to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and our community has been inspiring, and his expertise has been invaluable. I will always remember your commitment and dedication and the many ways you have made a positive impact on our agency. As you begin this new chapter, I hope you will reflect on your time with us with pride and satisfaction. You will be deeply missed, but we are excited to see what the future holds for you."
