HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Madison County Sheriff's Office announced on Friday that Detective Josh Moseley was released from Huntsville Hospital after a prolonged stay due to serious injuries sustained in a recent car accident. According to MCSO, Detective Moseley wishes to extend his heartfelt appreciation to the community who have shown incredible support during his rehabilitation.
"I am deeply grateful for the outpouring of kindness and concern from my department, citizens of Huntsville, and beyond," said Detective Moseley. "The thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes have been a beacon of hope and inspiration throughout my recovery. I am truly humbled by the generosity and compassion of our community."
Previous Coverage: On July 17, Detective Josh Moseley was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident while working traffic control on I565. Unfortunately, he sustained multiple serious injuries throughout his body and has undergone several surgeries since the incident. Currently, he is receiving treatment in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Huntsville Hospital.
