HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A man is behind bars after crashing his car into a house in south Huntsville early Thursday morning at around 3:15 a.m.
According to Huntsville police, 33-year-old Kristopher Poorman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after authorities say he drove his car off the curb, through a fence, and into a home on Quail Ridge Lane.
The house was occupied at the time, but no one was injured. However, the home did sustain significant damage.
Poorman was booked into the Madison County Jail at 4:42 a.m.
