HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — McDonald's restaurants across Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley are teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to help families and sick children. From May 20 to May 24, when you buy a Happy Meal at any of the 230 participating McDonald’s, 10% of the sales will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities-Alabama.
RMHC-Alabama helps families with sick kids by providing them a place to stay near hospitals, all without asking for any money. It costs Ronald McDonald House Charities-Alabama about $125 a night to give a family a place to stay. RMHC says no family is ever turned away because they can not afford it. This fundraiser makes sure that they can continue to help the community.
For more information, just stop by your local McDonald’s during the fundraiser dates.
