FLORENCE, Ala. — The McFarland Public Boat Ramp on Pickwick Reservoir in Florence is partially closed for renovations.
The three-lane ramp at McFarland West will be closed for approximately three months. The two-lane ramp at McFarland North will remain open during the majority of the renovation period.
Funding for this project was provided through the Sport Fish Restoration Program, which is supported through excise taxes on the sale of outboard motor fuel, fishing equipment and boating licenses. Additional funding was provided by Innovate Alabama, a statewide public-private partnership focused on entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.
