Morgan County multi-agency drug bust finds illegal narcotics and firearms, results in four arrests, officials say

Agents with three agencies arrested four individuals in a Morgan County drug bust, officials say.

DANVILLE, Alabama — The Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit and FBI executed a search warrant with the assistance of Decatur Police S.W.A.T. in Danville, Alabama, which resulted in four arrests.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office said the search of a home on the corner of Ironman Road and Targum Road in Danville produced illegal narcotics and illegal firearms. This is the third operation involving this home, officials said.

The sheriff's office said agents arrested and charged the following four individuals:

  • Kenneth David Tittle, 45, of Danville - Charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Christy Michelle Tittle, 39, of Danville - Charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 
  • Jamie McGhee Cheatham, 30, of Hartselle, Alabama - Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. 
  • Dennis Dewayne Fite, 35, of Hartselle - Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and three outstanding warrants for failing to appear.

Kenneth Tittle, Christy Tittle and Fite are being held without bond. Cheatham's bond was set at $300.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office said additional state and federal charges are pending.

"We continue to listen to our communities and seek out those that continue to break our laws. The citizens continue to work with us and we are grateful for their support" said Sheriff Ron Puckett. "Our participation in the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force assists us in seeking Federal Charges for those crimes that meet federal Statutes."
