DECATUR, Ala. — The Morgan County School Board announced its selection for a new superintendent.
The board voted to approve Robert Elliott as superintendent. They said that Elliott will serve the remainder of the term of Bill Hopkins, who retired and resigned on June 30. Hopkins’ term runs through November, 2022.
The school board also approved the budget for fiscal 2020-21.
