GoFundMe set up for family of man killed in Albertville Mueller Co. shooting

Lee Dobbins was one of the victims in a workplace shooting at the Mueller Company plant in Albertville, AL.

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up for the family of one of the victims killed in an Albertville workplace shooting on Tuesday.

Organizers say Lee Dobbins, who worked at Mueller Company in Albertville, was a loving person who "never in a million years would have ever hurt anyone."

Donations can be made on the fundraiser's GoFundMe page.

Dobbins leaves behind a daughter and wife.

"He was so full of life and his beautiful smile and spirit would light up the room," organizers said.

All donations through the fundraiser will go towards Dobbin's burial expenses and supporting his wife and daughter.

On Tuesday, a workplace shooting at the Mueller Company plant in Albertville left three people dead, including the gunman, and two others injured, according to the Albertville Police Department.

There is no known motive for this shooting at this time, but Albertville Police Chief Jamie Smith said they will continue to work on recovering as much information as possible.

"I would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the Mueller Company in the coming days, they have been a pillar and a great community partner in Marshall County for many years," said Smith.
