If you missed the flyover yesterday, don't worry! There is another chance

The purpose of this flyover is to show appreciation to the thousands of Americans who are battling COVID-19 on the front lines.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — If you missed yesterday's flyover due to the bad weather, don't worry! The Alabama National Guard is repeating the flyovers tomorrow, and have even added more hospitals to the list.

If you would like to go see them, these are the areas and estimated times that the flyovers will be:

  • Jasper 10:13 a.m.
  • Decatur Morgan 10:30 a.m.
  • Madison 10:33 a.m.
  • Huntsville Downtown 10:38 a.m.
  • Crestwood 10:39 a.m.

It is part of a normal training mission and will demonstrate the continued readiness of the 117 ARW during this pandemic. The flyover is also intended to lift morale in Huntsville due to the severe health and economic impacts from COVID-19.

BREAKING: Since poor weather created such low visibility for our flyovers in north Alabama, we have decided to reschedule our Huntsville salute for Thursday May 7th, 2020, and add a few additional hospitals to the path, as well. See below for times and locations. Please spread the word.
