HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend has some events to keep in mind! 

Buddy Walk - Join BUDS (Bringing Up Down Syndrome) for the 22nd annual Buddy Walk, a free event open to the public featuring activities for the whole family. Enjoy a lunch of pizza, drinks, and ice cream, along with a symbolic walk, a large auction, face painting, bounce houses, and a mini-special needs expo with informational tables.

20/20 Eye Care Trunk Show - 20/20 Eye Care will host its 2024 Trunk Show on September 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a wide selection of frames at up to 75% off. Guests can enjoy free food from Hound and Harvest, kids' coloring activities, and raffle tickets with proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity.

Moontown Airport Fly-In - On September 21, starting at 8 a.m. Families can enjoy a pancake breakfast, static aircraft displays, and Young Eagles rides for kids aged 8-17 throughout the day.

Taking LEGO to the Next Level - Join author and engineer Grady Koch on September 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Bricks & Minifigs for a hands-on session on enhancing your LEGO builds with sensors and motors, featuring demonstrations of motorized devices and LEGO electronics. 

Fall Market - The Fall Market at Kreative Vintage will take place on September 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring a selection of vintage treasures, trendy clothes, home goods, and local art. Admission is free. 

NEACA 2024 Fall Craft Show - The NEACA Fall 2024 Craft Show will be held at the Von Braun Center South Hall, with free admission for the public. Over 100 crafters will showcase items, including jewelry, pottery, and home decor. 

National Cleanup Day Event - Join the Hillendale Park and Holmes Avenue community cleanup on Saturday, September 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. All ages and experience levels are welcome, with gloves, litter grabbers, trash bags, safety vests, and water provided for participants.

HBG Fall Plant Sale - The Huntsville Botanical Garden Fall Plant Sale fundraiser will feature a variety of plants, herbs, trees, and vegetables, including hard-to-find native species and unique cultivars. The sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on September 19 for members only, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 20-21.

Food Truck Rally at Big Spring Park - Food Truck Rallies are returning to Big Spring Park, offering food and live music every third Friday from May to October, 5 to 9 p.m. 

Monte Sano Art Festival - The Monte Sano Art Festival, a beloved tradition in North Alabama for over two decades, will showcase local and regional artists on September 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and September 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the festival is free, but Monte Sano State Park will charge $10 per car for parking or $5 for walk-in attendees (cash only).

The Snail on the Wall Grand Opening - The Snail's new bookstore will celebrate its grand opening with a two-day event filled with activities, giveaways, and freebies. 

Soulful Food Truck Festival - Takes place on September 21 at Joe Stadium from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring food trucks, shopping vendors, a beer garden, and live entertainment. VIP ticket holders can enter an hour early at 11 a.m., while general admission starts at noon; children 5 and under are free, and kids ages 6-12 can enter for $5.

Yoga by the River - Every Saturday in September from 8 to 9 a.m. at Hays Nature Preserve.

City Lights & Stars Concert Series - Burritt on the Mountain's 31st annual City Lights & Stars Concert Series continues on select Fridays through September 20.

Jazz in the Park - The City of Huntsville’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will host the final week of Jazz in the Park on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Big Spring Park East, featuring saxophonist Marcus Anderson and violinist Dominique Hammons, with a themed “Alabama Hold ‘Em Night” encouraging attendees to wear their favorite denim.

Festifall - At Huntsville Botanical Garden from September through October during regular garden hours. Enjoy scenic fall displays, creative pumpkin arrangements, and the whimsical Scarecrow Trail, with activities included in general admission and free for members.

Outdoor Market - Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., running from May 4 through October 26 at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. 

Parent's Night Out - Parents can enjoy a night out while their kids have fun at a supervised climbing event, held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. The "Parents' Night Out" runs from 6 to 8 p.m. 

The Market at MidCity - Every Sunday until November 10, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring 50 local vendors.

A Journey into Imagimation Exhibit - Showcasing over 100 years of global animation art! Explore this experience at the Huntsville Museum of Art from July 12 to September 29. 

Fun Fridays with P&L - Fun Fridays with Piper & Leaf, happening every Friday from April 26 to October 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. Enjoy an evening of activities, refreshments, and entertainment each week.

Rocket City Bluegrass Jam Weekly bluegrass jam on Sundays at Straight to Ale. Happening from 4 to 8 p.m. 

The Village of Providence Farmers and Artisans Market - Happening every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market season runs from April 6 to November 30.
