HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The COVID-19 pandemic has left many people in a situation in which they are experiencing food insecurity for the first time.
Several North Alabama organizations work to combat food insecurity.
Food Bank of North Huntsville
According to the Food Bank of North Huntsville's website, the organization distributes food to relief organizations throughout 11 counties.

Manna House
The Huntsville Manna House, located at 2110 S Memorial Parkway, provides food assistance on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen

If you'd like to help those in need of food assistance, these organizations are also accepting donations. Additionally, the Rocket City Trash Pandas are holding a "World Record Food Drive Attempt" at Toyota Field on Nov. 11.
