North Alabama school districts holding in-person graduations

Several school districts have announced plans for in-person graduation ceremonies.

ALABAMA, USA — North Alabama school districts are beginning to announce graduation plans.

Some of them will be holding in-person ceremonies.

Lawrence County schools, Florence City schools,Franklin County schools, and Limestone County schools will all hold their ceremonies next week. More announcements are expected soon.

Florence City Schools:

June 12, 7:00 p.m. Florence High School at Braly Stadium

Franklin County, AL Schools:

May 21, 7:00 p.m. on the football fields on each of the five high schools

Lawrence County Schools:
May 21, 7:00 p.m. Lawrence County High School, R.A. Hubbard School
May 22, 7:00 p.m. Hatton High School, East Lawrence High School

Limestone County Schools:
May 19, 6:00 p.m Elkmont High School - Football Field
May 19, 8:00 p.m. Ardmore High School - Football Field

May 21, 6:00 p.m. Tanner High School - Football Field
May 21, 8:00 p.m. East Limestone High School - Football Field

May 22, 6:00 p.m. Clements High School - Football Field
May 22, 8:00 p.m. West Limestone High School - Football Field

Madison City Schools:

May 26, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. James Clemens - Madison City Schools Stadium
May 27, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Bob Jones - Madison City Schools Stadium

Marshall County Schools:

July 23, 8:30 p.m. Asbury High - Stadium
July 24, 8:30 p.m. Douglas High - Stadium
July 27, 8:30 p.m. DAR High - Burkey Center
July 28, 8:30 p.m. Brindlee Mountain High - Stadium

All of the districts have said they will limit crowds and enforce social distancing.
