HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend has some events to keep in mind! 

The Market at MidCity - Every Sunday until November 10, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring 50 local vendors.

A Journey into Imagimation Exhibit - Showcasing over 100 years of global animation art! Explore this experience at the Huntsville Museum of Art from July 12 to September 29. 

Fun Fridays with P&L - Fun Fridays with Piper & Leaf, happening every Friday from April 26 to October 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. Enjoy an evening of activities, refreshments, and entertainment each week.

Shakespeare in the Garden: Romeo & Juliet - Experience Shakespeare's tale of love and tragedy with Huntsville Shakespeare at the Huntsville Botanical Garden's outdoor Amphitheatre. Happening on August 3 and August 9 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) This will be a family-friendly 90-minute version of Romeo and Juliet.

Japanese Garden Photo Workshop - Happening on August 3, at 8 a.m. This is an opportunity for beginners or experienced photographers who want to improve their skills and explore the Japanese garden at Monte Sano State Park. 

Friends of the Library Used Book Sale (Athens) - Hardback books and DVDs are $1, while paperback books are 25 cents. The sale is happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and on the first Saturday of the month (August 3) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Clair Place Grand Opening Back to School Bash - This Saturday, Lennar North Alabama will celebrate grand opening of their newest community, St. Clair Place. The free carnival will have free popcorn, snow cones, games, food trucks, and prizes. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Rocket City Bluegrass Jam Weekly bluegrass jam on Sundays at Straight to Ale. Happening from 4 to 8 p.m. 

The Village of Providence Farmers and Artisans Market - Happening every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market season runs from April 6 to November 30.

North Alabama Speedway - Fall Frenzy Qualifier is Saturday, August 3 in Tuscumbia. 

Magic on the Mercury & Chase - Experience a magical journey aboard the North Alabama Railroad Museum's themed train event featuring floating candles and flying keys. Special guests will join passengers on August 3 at 9:30 a.m.
