North Alabama events November 15-17 | Happening This Weekend

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend has some events to keep in mind! 

Feed The City - Feed the City: HSV invites community members to gather at Mellow Mushroom every third Saturday to prepare meals for those in need. The event, open to all ages, encourages participants to bring ingredients like bread, meat, and cheese, and share the joy of giving back to the Huntsville community.

Venardos Circus - A Broadway-style, animal-free circus, will perform at MidCity District from November 14-24. Created by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster Kevin Venardos, the circus features aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, and more, with tickets starting at $16.95 for children and $27.95 for adults.

GIN-gle Bell Market Day - Santa will be on hand to take pictures with visitors while local vendors, including MoonPie John’s, offer unique items for holiday shopping. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 16.

Rocket Park & Pathfinder - The first phase of the newly renovated Rocket Park is now open, featuring Rocket Row exhibits showcasing historic space technology, including the Mercury Redstone, Saturn I, and the SLS Core Stage Pathfinder. Visitors can also explore the refurbished Pathfinder Shuttle Stack and enjoy the new amphitheater, with free admission included with museum entry.

Huntsville Downtown Vintage Market - Shop unique finds and vintage treasures this Saturday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at John Hunt Park's Sand Volleyball Complex. 

Galaxy of Lights - Huntsville Botanical Garden will be hosting special events for all to enjoy from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31, 2024. Walking Nights will be held Nov. 15–Dec. 1, Dec. 4–8, and Dec. 18–26 (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), while Driving Nights are scheduled for Dec. 9–17 and Dec. 27–31. Dog Nights are set for Nov. 18-19, Nov. 25-26, Dec. 23-24, with $5 admission per dog.

Music Explorer’s Club - On November 16 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the South Huntsville Public Library for a fun, free music education experience. Participants will explore different instruments and music styles, collect stamps in their Music Explorer Passport, and even create their own music with guidance from Huntsville Symphony Orchestra musicians.

Holiday on Gates - At Constitution Hall Park in Downtown Huntsville on Saturday, November 16, from 4 to 9 p.m., as the park transforms into a charming Christmas Market. The event will feature local artisans offering handcrafted gifts, artwork, food, and drinks.

Parent's Night Out - Parents can enjoy a night out while their kids have fun at a supervised climbing event, held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. The "Parents' Night Out" runs from 6 to 8 p.m. 

The Market at MidCity - Every Sunday until November 10, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring 50 local vendors.

Rocket City Bluegrass Jam Weekly bluegrass jam on Sundays at Straight to Ale. Happening from 4 to 8 p.m. 

The Village of Providence Farmers and Artisans Market - Happening every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market season runs from April 6 to November 30.
