North Alabama events October 25-27 | Happening This Weekend

There's plenty of events to enjoy this weekend.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend has some events to keep in mind! 

Toyota Field Fall Festival - On October 26 with early trick-or-treating from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a showing of Casper at 7:15 p.m. The event costs $10 for ages 13 and up, while children 12 and under can attend for free.

Huntsville Police Department & Huntsville Parks and Recreation Halloween Party - On Sunday, October 27, from 4 to 9 p.m. at The Orion Amphitheater, featuring trunk or treat, bounce houses, carnival games, food trucks, and a haunted house starting at 6 p.m.; children are encouraged to wear costumes, but it's not required. Admission is free, but tickets for the haunted house are limited.

Blossomwood Witches Ride - People dressed as witches will ride their bikes through the Blossomwood neighborhood, throwing candy to children along the route on October 27 at 4:30 p.m. All kids are invited to join in the fun, and a block party featuring live music and food trucks will follow the ride.

Hogan Family YMCA Fall Festival - On October 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.! Enjoy inflatables, games, face painting, crafts, trail mix making, apple cider, food trucks, candy, and much more

Movies in the Park - Returns to Big Spring Park East, offering free fall-themed movies and activities on Friday nights.

Food Truck Rally at Big Spring Park - Happening every third Friday from May to October from 5 to 9 p.m. Enjoy food truck vendors, live music, and yard games throughout the event season.

Harris Hill Festival - On October 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring face painting, food trucks, vendors, kids' activities, and a bounce house. Admission is free, but participants in the Corn Hole Tournament will need to pay $25 per person, and attendees are encouraged to bring a new child’s clothing item donation for The Caring Link.

Festifall - At Huntsville Botanical Garden from September through October during regular garden hours. Enjoy scenic fall displays, creative pumpkin arrangements, and the whimsical Scarecrow Trail, with activities included in general admission and free for members.

Outdoor Market - Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., running from May 4 through October 26 at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment.

Grant Funk Railroad Halloween Display - The model railroad is all decorated for Halloween and will be open for viewing on select dates. Visitors can enjoy the festive display from 6 to 8 p.m. on October 18 and 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. on October 19 and 26, and from 4 to 7 p.m. on October 20 and 27, with special hours on October 31 during trick-or-treating.

Parent's Night Out - Parents can enjoy a night out while their kids have fun at a supervised climbing event, held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. The "Parents' Night Out" runs from 6 to 8 p.m. 

The Market at MidCity - Every Sunday until November 10, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring 50 local vendors.

Fun Fridays with P&L - Fun Fridays with Piper & Leaf, happening every Friday from April 26 to October 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. Enjoy an evening of activities, refreshments, and entertainment each week.

Rocket City Bluegrass Jam Weekly bluegrass jam on Sundays at Straight to Ale. Happening from 4 to 8 p.m. 

The Village of Providence Farmers and Artisans Market - Happening every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market season runs from April 6 to November 30.
