One Generation Away is partnering with Refuge Church and multiple Marshall County Churches to hold a food distribution for individuals and families in need on Saturday, March 26th.
This event will be free, and no questions will be asked to those who attend. Anyone in need of food for the week can come and receive fresh, high-quality produce, dry and canned goods, and packaged goods. No registration for the event will be necessary.
These food drives will be drive-thru distribution events and will take place from 9-11:00 a.m. at Milton Frank Stadium, as well as, Marshall Technical School.
Those who are planning to attend are encouraged to come early, as it will be first come, first served.
In addition, these events are great volunteer opportunities for anybody or any family who wants to help make a difference in their communities. Volunteers are needed to help sort food, load groceries into cars, and, if they are comfortable with doing so, pray with individuals and families. Depending on the job, volunteers will work from 7-11:30 a.m.
One Generation Away holds one food distribution in North Alabama every month throughout the year. For more information about upcoming distributions, visit their website.
