HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — At 7:29 a.m. Friday, the Huntsville Police Department (HPD) reported that they believe there are no ongoing threats to the community at this time.
HPD confirmed they are seeking a suspect following a Thursday evening shooting on the north side of town. Officers were called to Powell Dr., south of Winchester Rd NW and east of Blue Spring Rd.
Officers found one person with non-life-threatening injuries, who was transported to Huntsville Hospital. As of 8:40 p.m. Thursday, police indicated they were "currently working to locate the offender in the area."
