HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The highway runs through Huntsville.

The Von Braun Center announced on Tuesday that Rascal Flatts will perform at its Propst Arena on March 20 as part of the group's "Life is a Highway Tour."

The concert event will also feature appearances by Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane.

Rascal Flatts has been idle in recent years but reunited for a 25th anniversary tour that will begin in February. Two dozen venues are on the calendar so far.

Tickets for the "Life is a Highway Tour" go on sale Friday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m.

Rascal Flatts formed in 2000 and remained active for about 20 years before taking a hiatus.

The band has performed in Huntsville previously, taking the Von Braun Center stage with Darius Rucker in 2010 and returning for another show in 2013.

In 2018, a Rascal Flatts-themed restaurant was announced for MidCity, but plans for the chain of eateries fell apart.
