HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Colonel Erin Eike started her new job as Commander of U.S. Army Garrison – Redstone Arsenal on August 1. Her role involves overseeing support for more than 65 organizations at the base, including the Army Materiel Command, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, the FBI, and other government agencies.
Originally from Windom, Minnesota, Eike began her military career in 1998 in the Minnesota National Guard. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Minnesota State and Gustavus Adolphus College. After that, she became an officer and earned master’s degrees in information technology management from Webster University and in strategic studies from the U.S. Air War College.
Before coming to Redstone Arsenal, Eike worked as the chief of the Requirements Division in the J6 Command, Control, Communications and Computers Cyber at the Pentagon.
