CULLMAN, Ala. — The Rock the South music festival will return to Cullman in June 2025, though acts for the next edition of the event haven't yet been announced.
The festival has been staged annually since 2012, drawing performers such as Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, Morgan Wallen, Alabama, Eric Church and Jelly Roll.
Attendance dipped significantly for the most recent event -- due in part to uncooperative weather -- but tens of thousands of people still flocked to York Farms in Cullman to catch the shows.
The festival set a record in 2023 with more then 35,000 attendees per day.
Dates for the 2025 festival are June 19-21.
"Rock The South set the foundation and raised the bar for all our events at Peachtree Entertainment,” said Shane Quick, Partner and Senior Promoter of the company that manages the event. “This festival is more than just a weekend of music -- it's a celebration of community, tradition, and the values that define Cullman.
"Hosting an event of this caliber in my hometown is incredibly special. It’s a privilege to share this experience with the people I grew up with, and to see how it brings together fans from across the country to experience the heart of small-town Alabama."
