RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. — Russellville Middle School will be dismissing students at 11:30 a.m. due to the unavailability of water on campus. In a Facebook post, the school announced that buses will be available at 11:30 a.m. for RMS students, while car riders will also be dismissed at the same time, with pick-up arrangements in the RMS parking lot as usual.
For car riders whose parents cannot pick them up, the normal dismissal time of 2:45 p.m. will apply. To ensure access to restrooms and water, the remaining students will be relocated to the RHS Auditorium for the rest of the day. All afterschool athletic practices for middle school students have been cancelled.
