SHEFFIELD, Ala. — Aerotek is looking to hire more than 200 workers at a hiring event hosted by the Sheffield Career Center.

The company will be hiring general laborers, forklift/skit steer operators and heavy equipment operators for a construction project in Cherokee, Alabama. Base wages start at $15 per hour and wages for heavy equipment operators are between $19 and $30 per hour.

The free event will take place on Thursday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 500 South Montgomery Ave., Suite 102.
