HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — An afternoon shooting in Triana sent one person to the hospital and led to a multi-jurisdiction search for the suspect.
According to the Madison County Sherriff's Office, the incident happened in the 100 block of Swancott Road.
Deputies say they responded to the scene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
MCSO shares one individual has been shot and has been transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. The victim's condition is currently unknown.
Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigators (CSI), HPD, and detectives have secured the perimeter and are investigating.
MCSO says it will provide more information as it becomes available.
