HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Executive Vice President, Lindsey Knupp has some exciting things to share about some new additions at The Junkyard Trash Pandas' team store this year. "Not only do we have new identities, but we just have new, fun things like these foam fingers that are foam hands," said Knupp. The Junkyard has something for all ages.... men, women and even infants. "Just a lot of new things coming in throughout the season. So definitely a place to check out when you get here to a Trash Pandas' game," she iterated.
For the first time ever, the fan shop is stepping out with their new customization machine. "So, fans can come into The Junkyard team store, get a jersey, grab a t-shirt and get their name and number customized on the back of that jersey," Knupp explained. Or if you have a jersey that you'd like to bring to the store, you can bring that in, and get it customized as well as buying a new one right here at the store."
If you were wondering how the process works Account Executive Austin Huggins takes us through the process. "So here, at Toyota Field, this year, we do have customizable jerseys. You can just approach the screen here. We're going to touch this screen and we're going to pick our jersey. I'm going to go with the Halo Blue this year," said Huggins.
Sizes range from small to 5x,"...and here is the name on the jersey. I'll go with Huggy. That's my nickname." Next pick your number, enter your first and last name, store employees will get to work on your jersey, and a few minutes later, you will have your customized jersey in hand.
Lastly, if you are headed to The Junkyard remember the store is cashless.
